Who might I expect to meet attending a Talk of Manchester event?

70-80% of people attending our events are professional services, business owners and/or decision makers representing general B2B non-manufacturing businesses. For example PR companies, Digital Agencies, Recruitment Companies, IFA, Chartered Accountants, Lawyers, Interior Designers, IT support companies, Invoice Discounting, Corporate Finance, Social Media and SEO.

Do I need to be a member to attend the events?

No, it is not necessary to be a member to attend any of our events, however you can join the Talk of Manchester for free by clicking here.

Will I be required to do a speech or similar?

No guest at any of our events will ever be asked to make a speech or presentation. However if you would like us to help you host your own seminar, please get in touch here.

How can I be added to your mailing list?

Can I see a delegate list before I book on for an event?

No, prior viewing of a delegate list is reserved for those guests actually booked on to that event. Those guests booking on at least 24hrs in advance of an event can expect to receive the delegate list the day before to assist with their networking.

However, in the case of our free to attend ‘Small Talk’ events, delegate lists are distributed on the evening.

I’ve booked on to an event, but now can’t make it, what do I do?

If you let us know by email or telephone at least 2 hours prior to the event, we can normally carry your booking over to the next event that suits your diary at no extra charge.
