The Grande Finale of the city’s awards season took place on Thursday 4th December with the Talk of Manchester Awards #theTOMs
This year they were kindly sponsored by Natwest, VIP Appearances & The Boardroom.
The TOMS have fast become one of the region’s most recognised business awards. Voted for by customers, they recognise leading companies from a variety of industries in the region, including marketing, recruitment, law and finance – with a special nod to entrepreneurs.
With over 73,000 votes cast, the awards were held at Manchester’s Mercure Hotel and welcomed 450 delegates.
Jennie Johnson of Kids Allowed was presented with the Best Female Entrepreneur award, while Christian Pepper of Financial Options won best Male Entrepreneur, in addition to picking up best IFA award. Also scoring the double was high-end contemporary hairdressing chain Barber Barber, who scooped Best Newcomer as well as the Chairman’s Choice award.
“The number of people voting demonstrates just how supportive our region’s business community is,” says Paul Kilroe, founder and Chairman of the TOMs. “Huge congratulations to all our winners and many thanks to our sponsors.”
